- US indications for adults include adjuvant treatment after resection, first-line metastatic treatment, and unresectable stage III NSCLC without progression after platinum chemoradiation when an approved test detects EGFR exon 19 deletion or exon 21 L858R. First-line use with pemetrexed and platinum chemotherapy also covers locally advanced or metastatic disease with these mutations. Another indication covers metastatic EGFR T790M-positive NSCLC progressing on or after an EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor.
