- US indications in adults require HER2-positive breast cancer. With trastuzumab and docetaxel it is used for metastatic disease without previous anti-HER2 therapy or metastatic chemotherapy. With trastuzumab and chemotherapy, neoadjuvant use covers locally advanced, inflammatory or early tumors greater than 2 cm or node-positive; adjuvant use covers early disease at high recurrence risk.
